I sincerely hope at this unprecedented time that you and your families are healthy and safe.
On the 23rd March 2020, with a heavy heart we have temporary closed the practice due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. It is my social responsibility as a business owner and duty of care as a health care provider to ensure I do my bit to help reduce any transmission of the virus. Covid-19 has truly rocked our world and no country/government was prepared for such an event. The leading governing bodies have now advised against ANY clinical contact and only offer Advice, Analgesia (pain relief) and Antibiotics (if needed).
The reasoning for this is to primarily reduce transmission and also reduce use of important personal protective equipment (PPE) that is required by our hospitals at this crucial time.
The NHS are setting up Urgent Dental Care Centres which will have the appropriate safety measures in place and when these have been set up we will put the information in this page and across the relevant parts of our website.
Please be reassured that will always be available to our patients for any support or advice. We will have an answerphone message which will explain protocol, however the easiest method is to email email@example.com, or make contact via Facebook/Instagram messenger and a member of our team will be in touch shortly. We will review things regularly and keep you all informed along the way. For updates please refer to our social media pages on Facebook or Instagram @DentalKind. I understand this will be inconvenient and extend treatment times. If at all concerned please do not hesitate to contact me. I assure you that we will resume a normal service as soon as it is safe to do so.
For concerned patients mid-treatment, e.g. Invisalign, please contact our team preferably via email and we will offer personalised advice.
Words cannot express how challenging a time this will be for us all and this period of time will forever be remembered as a significant historical event. Numerous people are dying around the world and now the very health care workers trying to save their lives are dying. The health care system is about to be tested beyond any measure imaginable. The financial implications for us all is huge and personally devastating for myself and my clinicians as we are all self-employed. The most important thing I hope and pray for is that all our families and friends stay healthy and survive this period. I have the utmost respect for those of you and those we know who are working for front line services.
Support each other, be selfless, be kind and most of all stay safe and indoors.
A huge heartfelt thank you to all our amazing patients and my team for standing by me through this difficult time.
